The heart behind the hospitality…
Carolyn Richards Cordes believes hospitality begins with paying attention to people. It’s a belief she’s lived at April Hill Ranch, where she and her family have cared for the land since 1987.
Together, they made it a working ranch, raised and homeschooled their children and grandchildren, tended gardens, and cared for the animals. Those years gave Carolyn a deep appreciation for fresh air, good food, meaningful conversation, and time to enjoy it all.
Now, as the ranch’s owner and steward, she brings the same hands-on care to welcoming families, friends, and teams. She pays attention to the details so guests can settle in and enjoy the people and occasion that brought them here.
